A very cute Sharp Aquos commercial on television.
Setting: a golf driving range. A tournament is going on, but it has been disrupted as players, caddies and spectators alike attempt to search for the ball. The ball is freaking visible on screen – a white little lobe which stands out amidst a sea of green.
Someone comes close to finding the ball.
Our screen now shows a family in their living room watching the search-and-rescue operation. Everybody is pointing to the ball, waving excitedly at the people on the range as if they were just separated in flesh through a piece of glass.
At a pub a larger crowd gets even worked up. Our commercial is silent – it has only music. But you can almost work out the words and gesticulations of encourage – or sarcasm – on the mouth of the viewers.
Brings a chuckle to me. I love to see such stuff in the daytime.
