If there's anything I don't like about my current house, is that I can't leave my windows open when it rains, because water droplets will make themselves at home, ruin the wood panelling beneath the window sill and then I shall be given a lecture on material handling by my parents.
So it's been raining almost non-stop for the past few days. And so the windows have been shut constantly and thus far I've been breathing in more carbon dioxide than oxygen - with a bit of light soon I can sit at my desk and make food without having to go the kitchen.
Yesterday I give up and open the windows in the heavy rain. Rebellion you can call it. I am absolutely !#$%^&-fied by stuffy air - cannot think!
Then Mother comes in. "Hey it's raining you know."
"Is it? Oh gosh."
My opportunity for denial and self-pleasure fails.
Back to suffocation.
