The half-completed Singapore Flyer - one of the many clones spawned from the dear Ferris Wheel and its evolutionised and mutated giant: the London Eye and its predecessor from Japan (can't remember which state).
From this angle it looks more like a viking jammed in mid-air
Now we've heard of Fiddler on the Roof. Shoe on the Roof is quite common but hardly dramatised. Missing slipper is a staple of the rags-to-riches story in Cinderella. Someone is probably singing "If I Were A Rich Man" and gyrating like Shakira and decides to upgrade to something else and throw his princely slipper off the ledge from the Esplanade's sky garden. I'm sure this is a guy's slipper - look at the size.
On a Clear Day You Can See Forever - looks like nice weather. Fact is: it's raining. Photographs can be deceptive eh.
There's a Jack Neo exhibit at the Esplanade Library, I think it's still in the process of being set up. I briefly see the man himself as I exit the library.
I try to take a picture of Liang Po Po's costume. The next few photographs show my attempt to take a perfect photo...
Darn! The man got in!
Yucks. My hand moved.
Darn! The man got in again! He was shifting the board in the background.
Okay. Finally. The perfect shot.
Waterfall at One Raffles Link - the one you can see while you head up the escalator between City Link and Marina Square. Again it's raining, not clear weather.
The wind blows and the streak of falling water wavers.
