TAKE TWO!
YOU'LL NEED:
Scrabble tiles
HOW TO PLAY:
1. Empty all the tiles from the bag onto the table. Ensure that all the letters on the tiles are facing downwards. Shuffle the tiles about as how you would begin a mahjong game.
2. One person – anyone – yell "Take four!" The game begins! Each player draws four tiles, opens them to view the letters and tries to form something out of it.
3. The first person who uses up all his tiles to form a word or words will shout, "Take two!"
4. Every player in the game, regardless your progress, will draw any two unseen tiles from the centre of the table to add to their "collection".
5. The first player who uses up all his/her tiles to form words will be the winner.
SOME POINTERS:
1. The rules in which words are formed in Scrabble applies here, i.e. no names, no abbreviations, words must read across or down and not diagonally, words must be read both horizontally and vertically.
2. In the event that no one is able to use up all their tiles and shout, "Take two", it has to be agreed among all the players that such a situation has occurred, and so every player will just take two tiles in order for the game to possibly proceed.
3. Players may re-arrange their existing words during the game.
